In many ways the MJR Collection Services Company reflects the drive, innovation and solid reputation of the founder and president, Marty J. Rosik.
Mr. Rosik has been involved in the credit and collection industry for 21 years. Unlike the majority of the industry Management, Mr. Rosik’s background is primarily in marketing and sales.
During the early stage of his career in the industry, Mr. Rosik had seen the need for fresh and innovative approaches being required to meet the paradigm shift that has taking place amongst the credit grantors. He recognized that no longer was the Collection Agency just to be regarded as an unfortunate part of dealing with credit users, but as an integral part of the rehabilitation of Credit Grantor’s collection strategies.
By being in the position dealing with Credit Grantors on a daily basis and in formulating the services for them, he soon came to realize that the collection industry did not readily accept innovation or change. It was upon this revelation that Marty Rosik decided that he would found and lead a company whose core encompassed the creating of a standard of values that promoted: Integrity – Innovation of Services – Customer Satisfaction.
Over the past several years, MJR Collection Services and MJR Capital have flourished as a local & national financial recoveries service.

Mr. Barnes is in his 27th year in the credit and collection industry. After graduating from Oakville Trafalgar High School, Mr. Barnes studied Economics and Marketing at the University of Toronto and Accounting at Sheridan College whilst commencing his collection career. Mr. Barnes started his career in the collection industry in 1980 and has held Senior Management positions with Financial Collection Agencies and Total Credit Recovery before purchasing Concord Collection Agencies in 1996. After selling the company, Mr. Barnes joined MJR in June, 2003. Mr. Barnes has had extensive dealing with Canadian and American Commercial and Consumer Credit Grantors as well as various levels of Government collections. Mr. Barnes sits on the Board of Directors of Credit Canada.

Ms. Martinez graduated from De La Salle University with a B.S.C. degree, Major in Accounting. A Certified Public Accountant from the Philippines, practicing accounting and auditing with Joaquin Cunanan/Price Waterhouse and Berg, Prasad Chartered Accountants. Ms. Martinez was employed for 6 years in Guam, U.S.A. as Controller for multiple companies prior to her collection industry career which started with MJR in 2001. She pursued her CMA designation Through CMA Canada’s Accelerated Program and conferred the CMA designation in January, 2005.

Joe Recinos has been with MJR Collections since June 2004. He is an honours graduate of the Humber College paralegal program. Joe began his career at MJR in the legal department, under the direction of MJR’s solicitor, Joel Miskin. After 18 months, Joe was promoted to head of the legal department. Over the next 2 years, while retaining that position, Joe became manager of MJR’s productions department and then Operations Manager. He currently oversees MJR’s operations at the Company’s Mississauga Ontario offices. Joe has a hands-on approach to managing the collections floor, which differs from the conventional approach in the industry.

In his position as head of MJR’s legal department, Joe makes good use of his paralegal training. He is licensed by the Law Society of Upper Canada holding a class P1 license. Joe appears in court, as needed, on behalf of MJR’s clients, and sends collection letters on behalf of MJR, in which he makes known to debtors his qualifications to initiate and prosecute court actions if necessary in order to resolve unpaid accounts.

Joe is currently undertaking university studies part time. He is fluent in English, Spanish and French.

Mr. Singh has a Masters degree in Information Technology (MSC-IT) as well as being a Microsoft Certified Professional, Red Hat-Linux, Oracle Professional-commerce and other various programming languages such as C, C++, visual basic, Java, FoxPro and Access. Mr. Singh also has a certificate in Cyber Law. Before joining MJR in July, 2003, Mr. Singh was running four Computer Education Institutes in India educating and training Engineering Students.
